American Arrogance

Arrogance born out of ignorance or is it just pigheadedness?

by Michael Smith (Veshengro)

One of the reasons why America is so hated around the world

America as a nation and also the great majority of the people of that country, especially the white, working class, have an arrogance that causes others to hate the country and its people.

One of the prime parts of this arrogance is that the majority of those white Americans are in the belief that they are their country are always right and can do no wrong and that the rest of the world is in the wrong.

This attitude is found from politics, through to commerce, all the way down to the people and their talk on Internet forums, blogs and such.

Other races and other people are referred to more often than not in a rather derogatory manner, such as with words like ragheads, gooks, etc., and anyone who is not American is generally talked down to.

We do not even want to talk about the way the selfsame people are talking about their President, Barak H. Obama, and this, to a degree because of his racial heritage. Some of that talk again st the President, even in the USA, is treasonous, regardless of Freedom of Speech guaranteed in the Constitution.

Those selfsame people also seem to believe, seriously, the way history is being portrayed by Hollyweird, in that some really think that it was the US Navy that captured the Enigma code machine from a German submarine and when one tells them it was the Royal Navy the argument starts with “but it was shown in the movie it was the US Navy”.

That is why I am saying that much of this arrogance of that part of the American people is due to ignorance and lack of education and of the world. What is one, however, to expect of people who often have never gotten further out then the border of their county or the next, often never ever having left their state let alone their country to see other places.

They tend to believe also everything that the right-wing media and their leaders of their churches and other preachers tell the, whether this is with regards to President Obama and his birth certificate issue and the fake ones that are purported to show him having been born in Kenya, thus making him ineligible to be US President, or with regards to the health care debate where it was claimed that Professor Hawkins would be left to die by the British NHS despite then fact that Prof Hawkins is British and lives in the UK.

When confronted with the truth about the latter people still insisted that the person telling them was lying because their pastors had told them that about Prof Hawkins.

Another reason why the churches cannot be trusted in any way, shape or form, and it does not matter which of the denominations we are talking about.

Many of those people also believe fake media outlets such as World Net Daily as bringing them the truth just because the people are supposedly Christians whop are behind it, and therefore would not possibly lie. Hellooo!!! Wakeup time!!!

Then there are the so-called Christians who run Internet forums and blogs who claim to be such Bible-believing and -following people but who speak so ugly about other people that it really makes one's hairs stand on end. If that is the fruit of the Christian Faith then, thanks very much, I want nothing whatsoever to do with it.

They accuse Islam of being evil while the fruits of their Christianity to any bar those with the same kind of “faith” would appear at least as violent if not more so then what they accuse Muslims of. At the same time on e can never accuse Israel, that illegal state in Palestine, of any crimes; they immediately then explode and go ballistic.

The Jew (and the state of Israel) are always right as are they, the born-again Christian brigade. May the g-ds help us all.

No wonder America and its allies, and here Britain in the front, are hated in the rest of the world, yes, even in many European countries and not just in places such as Iraq, Afghanistan and Iran, etc.

Oh, and while we have arrived at Iraq (and Afghanistan); while those Americans would see it as their right and duty to defend their country in case of an invasion by foreign troops, even if they would use the guise of liberators, when other people that the Americans with their allies occupy react in the same manner then they are evil insurgents and have to be destroyed. One rule for them and one for the rest of the world.

The majority of those Americans also believed that the Iraqis would welcome the US occupiers of their country with open arms and flowers and when this did not happen they saw them as ungrateful children.

It is time that the American people woke up and smelled the roses and to the fact that the world does not rotate around the US, even though it often would appear thus.
